๐Ÿฅช These irresistible turkey sliders feature tender deli turkey and melty Swiss cheese on soft Hawaiian rolls, brushed with a flavorful buttery topping for the perfect bite-sized treat!
๐Ÿˆ Ideal game day appetizer that’s quick to prepare, feeds a crowd, and keeps everyone coming back for more during parties or tailgates!

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

– 12 Hawaiian rolls

– 3/4 pound thin-sliced deli turkey

– 3/4 pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1 stick

– 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard

– 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1/2 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

1-First Step: Get the oven and pan ready Start by preheating your oven to 350ยฐF. Line a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish with foil, then spray it with nonstick spray. This makes cleanup easier and helps the sliders lift out cleanly after baking.

2-Second Step: Slice the rolls Take the Hawaiian rolls and slice them in half horizontally without separating them. Keeping the rolls connected makes the layering much easier and helps the sliders stay together after baking. Place the bottom halves in the prepared dish.

3-Third Step: Add the turkey and cheese Layer the thin-sliced deli turkey evenly over the bottom halves. Add the Swiss cheese on top of the turkey. Try to cover the rolls all the way to the edges so each slider has a full layer of filling. If you want a little extra texture, you can lightly toast the buns before assembly to help reduce sogginess. The turkey also helps block excess moisture from reaching the bread.

4-Fourth Step: Add the top halves and make the butter mixture Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese. Next, melt the butter in a small bowl or saucepan. Stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until well combined. This mixture gives the sliders their rich, savory flavor and helps the tops turn golden brown.

5-Fifth Step: Brush and rest Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls. Make sure the tops are fully coated so they soak up all that flavor. Let the sliders sit for about 5 minutes before baking. That short rest gives the butter time to sink in and helps the seasoning stick.

6-Sixth Step: Bake covered first Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Baking covered keeps the tops from browning too quickly and lets the cheese melt evenly inside. If you are making these for a party, this step is especially helpful because it keeps the sliders soft and warm while the centers heat through.

7-Seventh Step: Brown the tops and serve Uncover the dish for the last 5 minutes of baking so the tops turn lightly crisp and golden. Once the sliders are done, remove them from the oven and serve warm. Cut them apart and bring them to the table right away so the cheese stays melty and the rolls stay tender.
