πŸ‘ This Peach Cobbler recipe highlights fresh peaches and a flaky crust for a comforting, classic dessert.
πŸ”₯ It’s easy to make and perfect for showcasing seasonal fruit with a warm, cinnamony finish.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 5 peaches (peeled, cored, and sliced, about 4 cups or 600-700 g)

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar (150 g)

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 6 tablespoons butter (85 g)

– 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 g)

– 1 cup granulated sugar (200 g)

– 2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 3/4 cup milk (180 ml)

– Cinnamon for sprinkling

Instructions

1-First, combine the sliced peaches, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a saucepan. Cook this over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the peaches release their juicy goodness, then take it off the heat.

2-Next, preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and pop the butter, sliced into pieces, into a 9Γ—13 inch baking dish. Let it melt in the oven, then pull it out carefully.

3-In a large bowl, mix the flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and another 1/4 teaspoon salt; stir in the milk until it’s all combined into a smooth batter. Pour that batter over the melted butter in the dish and smooth it out evenly.

4-Now, spoon the peach mixture and its juices over the batter, sprinkle on some cinnamon, and slide it into the oven. Bake for 38-40 minutes until it’s bubbly and golden serve it warm, maybe with a scoop of ice cream for extra fun!
