  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 2 large limes

– 2 pounds frozen mangoes

– 2-3 cups water

– ΒΌ cup cane sugar

– 1 cup ice cubes

– 2 fresh mangoes (cubed) for serving

– Β½ cup chamoy sauce for serving

– 2-4 tablespoons chile-lime salt for serving

– 6 tamarind candy straws for serving

Instructions

1-First, prepare the garnishes by peeling and cubing the 2 fresh mangoes, then place the 2-4 tablespoons of chile-lime salt in one shallow bowl and Β½ cup of chamoy sauce in another. This sets the stage for the spicy and tangy elements that make this mocktail special. Next, squeeze the juice from the 2 large limes into a blender, and add the 2 pounds of frozen mango chunks, 2-3 cups of water, ΒΌ cup of cane sugar, and 1 cup of ice cubes.

2-Blend everything on high until smooth, adding more water if needed to get the right thickness. Once blended, dip the rims of your glasses in chamoy sauce, then in the chile-lime salt for that authentic touch. Drizzle some chamoy inside the glasses at the bottom and along the sides to create distinct layers.

3-Assembling and Serving: Divide the mango mixture into the prepared glasses, layering with more chamoy between portions for added depth. Top each glass with extra chamoy, a sprinkle of chile-lime seasoning, the fresh mango cubes, and insert the 6 tamarind candy straws for a fun finish.
