Ingredients

– 2 oz Reposado or silver tequila

– 2 oz Italian lemon liqueur (Limoncello)

– Juice of half a fresh lime

– Juice of half a Meyer lemon

– Half an ounce simple syrup or agave for sweetness

– Lemon zest for rimming the glass

– Maldon sea salt for rimming the glass

– Lime juice for moistening the glass rim

– Ice cubes for shaking and serving

– A lemon slice for garnish

Instructions

1-Gather all ingredients and chill your glassware for the best chill.

2-Squeeze the juice from half a fresh lime and half a Meyer lemon for that bright acidity.

3-In a shaker, mix 2 oz Limoncello, 2 oz tequila, the fresh juices, and half an ounce of simple syrup or agave.

4-Add ice to the shaker and shake hard for 15-20 seconds until everything blends perfectly.

5-Rim the glass by combining lemon zest with Maldon sea salt, moisten with lime juice, and dip the rim.

6-Strain into the glass over fresh ice and add a lemon slice for garnish.
