๐Ÿช These Hot Chocolate Cookies are perfect for holiday gatherings, offering a cozy and nostalgic treat everyone will love.

  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: Approximately 36 cookies

Ingredients

– 1 cup softened butter

– 1 cup sugar

– 2/3 cup brown sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla

– 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

– 4 packages or 3/4 cup hot cocoa mix

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1 cup chocolate chips

– 1 cup dehydrated marshmallows

Instructions

1-First, beat the softened butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. This creates a creamy base for your dough.

2-Next, add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well to incorporate everything smoothly.

3-In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, hot cocoa mix, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

4-Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, blending until fully combined for a uniform dough.

5-Stir in the chocolate chips and dehydrated marshmallows to add those special bursts of flavor and texture.

6-Cover the dough and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours. You can learn more about this in our guide on chilling cookie dough tips for better results.

7-Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and drop the dough onto lined baking sheets using 2-tablespoon portions, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

8-Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned, then allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
