๐Ÿฆ€ Enjoy the rich, savory flavors of Crab Legs with Garlic Butter Sauce, a simple yet elegant seafood dish.
๐Ÿ‹ This recipe is quick to prepare, making it perfect for a delightful, fuss-free meal that impresses.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 6 pounds crab legs (Dungeness crab, king crab, snow crab, or a combination)

– 1/2 cup butter

– 1 tablespoon minced garlic

– Salt to taste

– Pepper to taste

– 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

– Lemon wedges (optional, quantity as desired)

Instructions

1-First: place 3 inches of water in a large, deep pot over medium heat and bring to a boil. This method ensures the crab heats evenly, keeping it juicy and flavorful.

2-Next, crack the crab legs using a seafood cracker to help the steam penetrate. Then, place the cracked crab legs in the pot and cover. Cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through; if using raw crab, cook for 10-12 minutes until the flesh turns red or orange and opaque.

3-After draining the crab legs and keeping them warm, melt the 1/2 cup butter in the pot, add the 1 tablespoon minced garlic, and cook for 30 seconds. Turn off the heat, then stir in salt to taste, pepper to taste, and the 2 tablespoons chopped parsley. Finally, return the crab legs to the pot and toss them in the garlic butter mixture before serving immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
