Instructions

1-First: place the 1.5 lbs of thinly sliced beef strips, 1 green bell pepper sliced thick, 1 red bell pepper sliced thick, and Β½ onion sliced thick into the crockpot. Next, add the seasonings: Β½ teaspoon ground ginger, Β½ teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 tablespoon brown sugar, along with ΒΌ cup soy sauce. Pour in 1 Β½ cups beef broth and stir everything to combine.

2-Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 2.5 to 3 hours until the steak is fully cooked. To thicken the sauce, mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water to make a slurry, then stir it in and cook on high for another 30 to 60 minutes. Serve it hot over white rice for a complete meal.
