Instructions

1-Step 1: First, prepare 2 chicken breasts by cutting them in half lengthwise to make four thinner cutlets. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Mince 3 cloves of garlic, measure out 1 cup heavy cream, and have 1/2 cup chicken broth ready. Heat a large skillet over medium-high for a few minutes until it’s hot.

2-Step 2: Next, add 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter to the skillet. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until it’s golden and cooked through. Transfer it to a plate and cover loosely with foil to rest.

3-Step 3: Return the skillet to medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon flour and the minced garlic, and stir for about 1 minute. Pour in the 1/2 cup chicken broth and whisk until it dissolves and reduces by half. Stir in 1 cup heavy cream and let it bubble gently until the sauce thickens.
