โ˜• Enjoy the rich and crunchy delight of these Coffee Toffee Pretzel Truffles, combining the bold flavors of coffee and sweet toffee with a salty twist.
๐Ÿซ Perfect for gifts or indulgent treats, these truffles offer a luxurious texture with a smooth chocolate coating and crunchy pretzel bites inside.

  • Total Time: 3 hours
  • Yield: Approximately 24 truffles

Ingredients

– 3 cups molding chocolate, divided (milk or dark) for the base and coating

– 1/2 cup brewed coffee, hot to add rich coffee flavor

– 1 tablespoon butter for creaminess and binding

– 1 teaspoon vanilla to enhance overall taste

– 1/2 cup pretzels, ground fine for that signature crunch

– Edible gold powder for a decorative, professional finish

Instructions

1-Begin with the first step: Add 2 cups of the molding chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1 minute, then stir until melted. Next, stir in the 1/2 cup hot brewed coffee, 1 tablespoon butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth, creating a rich base for your truffles. Fold in the 1/2 cup ground fine pretzels and let the mixture sit at room temperature, stirring every 30 minutes until it’s thick enough to roll into balls.

2-Once thickened, melt the remaining 1 cup of molding chocolate. For the shaping and coating, dip each ball into the melted chocolate to cover completely, tapping off any excess. Place the coated balls on wax paper, gently tap the top to create a design, and let them harden before dusting with edible gold powder using a small clean paintbrush.
