Instructions
1-First: preheat your oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it and lining with baking paper for easy removal.
2-In a bowl, mix the melted butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until fully combined, then add the egg and stir well.
3-Press about two-thirds of this mixture into the base of the pan and bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden, then let it cool for 5 minutes.
4-While the base bakes, mix together the apple filling ingredients in a separate bowl for a fresh, flavorful layer.
5-Next, add oats to the reserved crumble mixture and blend it for the topping, adding that extra crunch.
6-Spread the apple filling evenly over the baked base, then sprinkle the oat mixture on top to create the perfect finish.
7-Pop it back in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the topping is a deep golden color.
8-Once done, let it cool in the pan before cutting into bars.
