– 1 Β½ cups add-ins such as candies, chocolate chips, nuts, chopped pecans, or diced apples
Instructions
1-Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (177Β°C).
2-Beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3-Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix for about one minute until well combined.
4-Add the instant oatmeal packets, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
5-Stir in your desired add-ins like chocolate chips or diced apples for extra texture and flavor.
6-Shape the dough into 1-inch balls, place 8 cookies per baking sheet, and slightly flatten each one.
7-Bake one sheet at a time for 8 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers look slightly underbaked.
8-Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely. Store them in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
