🍽️ Enjoy the perfect blend of smoky and tangy flavors with Andouille Sausage Appetizer Bites featuring cranberry and cheddar cheese.
πŸŽ‰ These bite-sized appetizers are quick to prepare, making them ideal for festive gatherings or easy entertaining.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 24 appetizer bites

Ingredients

– 9 oz Andouille sausage Provides smoky, spicy flavor

– 4 oz Cranberry Cheddar cheese Adds creamy, tangy notes

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Used for cooking the sausage

– 1/3 cup cranberry sauce Brings sweetness and tartness

– 24 appetizer picks For serving and presentation

Instructions

1-Heat oil and cook sausage slices: Start by heating the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. This sets the stage for cooking the sausage to perfection, infusing it with a golden brown crust.

2-Drain and cool the sausage: Next, add the 3 links of Andouille sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces, to the skillet. Cook them for 3-4 minutes per side until they’re fully cooked and have a nice browning. Once done, remove the slices and let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate to soak up any excess oil.

3-Cube the cheese and prepare picks: Then, cut the 4 oz of Cranberry Cheddar cheese into small cubes for easy skewering. Now, assemble your bites by skewering a sausage slice with a cheese cube on one of the 24 appetizer picks.

4-Skewer and add sauce: Top each with a dollop of 1/3 cup cranberry sauce, and you’re ready to serve.

5-Serve immediately for the best taste: Serve immediately for the best taste.
